Short answer
Timeless captures and transcribes the spoken audio of your meetings. The text chat inside Zoom or Google Meet is not captured by the Timeless AI bot.
Details by platform
Zoom
The Timeless bot joins as a participant and records audio. It does not have access to the Zoom in-meeting chat. If you want chat messages included in your notes, you can manually copy the Zoom chat log after the meeting and paste it into the Timeless Room chat for the AI to incorporate.
Google Meet
The Timeless bot (or Invisible AI) transcribes what's said out loud. Google Meet chat messages are not captured.
Microsoft Teams
Same as above — spoken audio only. Teams meeting chat is not included in Timeless transcripts.
Workaround
If important information was shared in the chat (links, names, decisions), you can:
Export or copy the chat log from your video conferencing platform after the meeting.
Open the meeting in Timeless and paste the chat content into the Room chat.
Ask the AI to incorporate it: "Here is the meeting chat log. Please update the summary to include these items."
