  • Go to the new tab page.

  • Start by pressing the 'Share times' button on the top left.

  • When you join timeOS, you will first need to claim your user name, which means what will be your personal link URL.

  • Change it to the name you'd like to have on your personal link. Please see the green check to make sure it isn't taken.

  • Once you are done, you can copy the link and start using it, but we'd recommend customizing it to avoid your entire calendar being open for scheduling. You don't want to regret not time blocking your time perfectly (we are all humans).

Customize your personal link template

  • When you join timeOS, you will see two templates that we have already added to your account. No worries, no one has them unless you shared them 😉

  • The first template, '👋 chat with {your name},' is your default template connected to your personal link.

  • Once you press on the three dots and 'edit' you can start and customize it.

You can change the following:

First screen- 'Event details.'

  • The meeting's name [which is also the template's name].

  • The meeting duration.

  • Adding an agenda with our AI assistant [we know that on the general link, it might be more challenging, but you can go with a broad agenda that will put the meeting into a framework].

  • Allowing participants to change the duration of the meeting [we will recommend checking a box and picking the shortened option. We want to avoid coming across a 120min meeting out of nowhere, and it's our time, after all].

  • Location- timeOS is integrated with Google Meet. Once you log in to timeOS with your google account, we will create a Google Meet link for the meeting.

  • Remember that once you add a link or physical location, it will save it for this template. So it's a one-time setup.

Second screen- 'Availability.'

This is your time protector screen. Mark the hours you'd like this template to be available. For example, if your morning isis a focus time, avoid marking them and keep them to yourself.

You can also overlay your calendar to double-check and try our recommendations.

Third screen- 'Time limits.'

This screen will help you avoid last-minute meetings popping into your calendar, frame the dates they can schedule, and avoid conflicts with your other calendars or teammates!

Forth screen- Notes

You can add notes to the meeting to make notes for yourself under 'Private' or make them public to the participants by adding them under 'Shared' [Currently for timeOS members only, for view only]. You can use the AI assistant to generate notes.

Finally, remember to press 'Update template' to save.

You are now ready to go!
