Timeless can transcribe and summarize meetings in many languages, not just English. Here's how to set it up — and what to know about mixed-language meetings.
How to set your meeting language
To get started:
Open Timeless and go to the New Tab.
Click Preferences ⚙️.
Go to Global Context.
Under Meeting language, choose your preferred language.
You should get a confirmation that the setting is saved. This will apply to all future meetings by default.
You can also override the language for a specific meeting from the meeting's page in the web app, under the Conversation tab.
Hebrew (or other language) mixed with English
If your meetings are primarily in Hebrew (or another language) but include English words and phrases, set the meeting language to your primary language (e.g. Hebrew). Timeless will handle the mixed content and produce the summary in Hebrew.
If the summary still comes out in English after setting the language, double-check that:
The language setting was saved before the meeting started (it cannot be changed retroactively for an already-processed meeting).
You're looking at the correct meeting — newly processed meetings will use the updated language setting; old meetings retain their original setting.
What about the summary email sent to participants?
The participant summary email is currently sent in English by default, regardless of the meeting language setting. This is a known limitation — the meeting notes themselves will be in your chosen language, but the email template remains in English.
A fix and the ability to change the email language is on our roadmap. In the meantime, participants can open the meeting Room link included in the email to see the full summary in the correct language.
Using Invisible AI (Google Meet)
If you use Invisible AI for Google Meet, the language must be set before the meeting starts — it cannot be corrected after the fact. Make sure your language preference is configured in Global Context ahead of time.
