Progression Graph & Student/Domain Filtering 📈
Teachers can now track student performance over time, not just a snapshot of current data.
What’s new:
📊 Progression graph shows how student and class performance changes throughout the school year
🎯 Filter by student or domain to focus on individual progress or specific math areas
👥 Compare a single student’s performance against the whole class
This makes it easier for teachers to spot trends, notice sudden changes in performance, and identify when students may need extra support—or when growth is happening as expected.
New Printing Assignments Experience 🖨️
We’ve redesigned the assignment printing experience to give teachers more flexibility and control—based directly on teacher feedback.
Teachers can now:
✅ Choose whether to include answer keys
🔠 Adjust font size (12–28)
✍️ Select workspace size (None, Small, Medium, Large)
All changes update live, so teachers can preview exactly what their assignment will look like before printing.
Tagging Problems with Standards 🏷️
Teachers can now tag standards to the problems they create or upload in Magma. This ensures custom content is fully connected to Magma’s reporting and insights. When a standard is tagged:
The problem appears in assignment stats
Progress is tracked by standard, just like Magma-created content
This update allows teachers—especially in districts creating their own content—to use all of Magma’s data and decision-making tools, even with custom problems.
