Why It Matters
The Distribution tab provides a high-level view of performance on a district-wide assignment while also showing how student performance is spread across score ranges.
District leaders can use the table and distribution graph together to identify patterns and drill into specific schools, classes, and students.

Tip: Start with the Distribution tab to identify performance patterns, then move into Problem Analysis to understand whystudents performed the way they did.
How to Use It
Navigate to the District Dashboard and open a district-wide assignment.
Select the Distribution tab.
Review the table and distribution graph to explore performance across your district.
Review the student distribution graph to see how performance is spread across score ranges.
Click a row in the table to highlight that school, class, or student group in the distribution graph.
Click the expand arrow to the left of a row to drill into more detailed data, such as:
Classes within a school
Students within a class
Use the comparison icon in the upper-left corner to select up to two additional assignments. Both the table and graph can display up to three assignments at once.
Continue exploring different levels of your data without losing the assignments you've selected for comparison.
Tip: Comparing distributions can surface performance patterns that averages alone may hide.
