District Progress

Monitor standards coverage and identify instructional trends across schools, grades, and classrooms.

Written by Stephanie

Why It Matters

The Progress tab gives district leaders a system-wide view of how standards are being covered — making it easier to spot gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for targeted support before they compound.

  • See how standards are being covered across schools at a glance

  • Identify trends, gaps, and inconsistencies in implementation

  • Make data-driven decisions around instructional priorities and resource allocation

  • Surface where additional coaching, professional learning, or support may be needed

How to Use It

  1. Navigate to the Progress tab in the District Dashboard

  2. Use the grade level dropdown (top right) to select the appropriate grade

  3. Review the Standard Completion graph to monitor how standards coverage has trended over time across the district

  4. Analyze the Standards Heatmap:

    • Columns represent standards grouped by domain — select a column to isolate and focus on a specific domain

    • Rows represent schools, classes, or students depending on your current filter (adjust using the arrow button next to the i)

    • Colors indicate level of accuracy

Note: Data reflects only skills students have attempted within a standard — unattempted skills are not counted against results. Results are weighted toward the first attempt on the most recent problems solved (up to the last 10 problems).

  5. Use the left panel to compare overall completion percentages across schools

  6. Apply filters as needed to refine your view

Instructional Impact

The Progress tab helps leaders zoom out to see the full picture, then zoom in on where action is needed most.

  • Identify priority standards that may require district-wide focus

  • Highlight variability in implementation across schools to inform targeted support

  • Plan more strategically for coaching, professional learning, and interventions

  • Monitor progress toward instructional goals over time
