Introducing District Books

Your district now has a shared library of books available directly in your account.

Written by Stephanie

District Books are a collection of instructional materials curated and managed by your district. Unlike personal books, District Books are shared across all teachers in the district, so everyone is working from the same aligned content.

District Books are organized just like you're used to:

  • Book — the top-level collection

  • Folder — groups of related content (like a unit or chapter)

  • Assignment — individual sets of problems

  • Problems — the actual questions and tasks

How do I get access?

If you previously had access to MyBook, District Books will automatically appear in your book list in CAF. Your district administrator controls which books are published to teachers. A book may be shared with all teachers in the district, all teachers in a specific grade, or all teachers in a specific grade at your school.

What's in a District Book?

Your district may have books that were:

  • Built from a foundational curriculum — your district started with a research-backed base and customized it for your students

  • Created specifically for your district — based on your district's own scope and sequence

Either way, the content has been reviewed and approved at the district level before being shared with you.

What can I do with District Books?

You can use District Books just like any other book in CAF — browse folders, open assignments, and assign problems to your students. Any books shared with you will appear automatically in your book list.

Questions?

Reach out to your district administrator if you don't see a book you expected, or if you have questions about the content in a District Book.
