We’re excited to introduce the first version of the Magma Maths Teacher iPad App! This release marks a major step toward creating a smooth, powerful experience for modelling maths, reviewing pupil work, and managing classes, all directly from your iPad.

What’s Included in the First Release

You can now do the essential teacher workflows directly from the iPad app:

  • Create assignments: Build assignments on the go with Magma’s intuitive problem builder.

  • Create your own problems and My Books tab

  • View the Heatmap: See pupil progress at a glance — perfect for in-the-moment support.

  • Use Solve Mode: Work through problems live, model thinking, or explore solutions.

  • Manage Pupils & Classes: Add/remove pupils, adjust rosters, and manage class settings.

  • Help Queue: View and respond to pupil help requests.

  • Printing Pupil Lists: Quickly access and print your roster.

  • Intercom Support: Chat with our team directly from the app.

  • Quiz Mode: Run quizzes with pacing, playable mode, common error detection, and more.

We’re actively working on expanding the iPad app! While exact timing may shift, here’s an overview of what you can expect in upcoming releases:
