Go to the Assignments Tab: Click on the Assignments tab and then select the New Assignment button in the top right corner.

Choose Problems: Pick the problems you want to include in your assignment. You can select problems by book, chapter, and subchapter. Choose from any year or level.

Select Pupils: Decide which class, group, or individual pupils will receive the assignment.

Allow Answer Checking: Turn this on if you want students to see the correct answers if they make a mistake.

Quiz Mode: Enable this if you want pupils to complete the assignment without seeing answers or feedback until it’s over. Great for assessments!

Name Your Assignment: Give your assignment a name that will be visible to both you and your pupils. For example, "Multiplication Practice."

Create the Assignment: Click Create to finalise your assignment.

Need to Make Changes? If you want to edit, delete, or change which pupils get the assignment, click the three dots next to the assignment.

The Heatmap: Get an Overview of Your Pupils' Results 📊

The Heatmap helps you monitor how your pupils are doing on an assignment in real-time.

Access the Heatmap

Click anywhere on the white space of the assignment you want to review. The Heatmap updates in real-time, so you can quickly see which problems are causing issues and which students need more help.

Understand the Heatmap Colours:

  • Green: Correct on the first try

  • Yellow: Correct after two or more attempts

  • Red: Incorrect answer

  • Eye Icon: The student has viewed the answer

  • Fire Icon: The pupils

  • Grey: Solutions haven’t been submitted yet

  • Number: Indicates how many times a student has submitted an answer

View Problem-Specific Results

  • Click on the problem number box at the top of the Heatmap to see all student solutions and answers for that specific problem.

  • If anonymous mode is on, pupils names will be hidden, but you can still view their results. To hide results completely, click the checkmark icon to see all answers in blue.

Review Individual Pupil Performance

Click on a pupil’s name in the Heatmap to see their solutions and answers to all problems in the assignment.

Inspect Specific Solutions

Click on an individual problem to see the solution for that particular pupil.

Playback Solutions

In the bottom right corner, you can playback a pupil's solution. Use the pencil icon to solve the problem and the flag icon to report any errors.

Features and Tips for Assignments 💡

  • Copy: Duplicate an assignment to easily assign the same content to other pupils or classes.

  • Copy Colleague: Share an assignment with your colleagues.

  • Share with Pupils: Distribute assignments directly to pupils via a shareable link, perfect for integrating with platforms like Google Classroom.

  • Print: Generate a printable version of the assignment.

  • Change Topic: Organise your assignments by different categories or topics to keep everything neatly sorted.
