🗺️ What the Floor Plan shows
The Floor Plan gives staff a visual map of the dining room on the Workstation — the sections and tables exactly as they were laid out in the Back Office builder. At a glance you can see which tables are free and which are in use, and open a table's order straight from the map.
The floor plan must first be built in the Back Office (see Floor Plans Builder). If no floor plan has been created, the Floor Plan view won't appear on the POS.
👆 Opening a table
Tap a table on the map to open it. A free table starts a new order; a table that's already in use opens its existing check.
🎨 Reading table status
Tables are colour-coded so you can read the room at a glance:
Available — the table is free.
Occupied — the table has an open order.
🔀 Switching sections
If you have more than one section or floor plan, switch between them from your favourites in the footer, or open the floor-plans selector to pick another.
💡 Good to know
The floor plan is built and edited in the Back Office; changes there flow to the POS.
Moving, merging, or transferring tables is done from the check itself — not by dragging on the map.
On some devices the map view may not be available; you can still work from the standard tables list.
