🍽️ Opening a Table Order

From the dashboard, use the Table order keypad on the left to enter a table number, then press Enter. If a check already exists for that table you will be taken directly into it; otherwise a new order is started.

🏷️ Revenue Center Selection

If multi-revenue center is enabled, when starting a new table order, the workstation may prompt you to assign a revenue center. The revenue center determines which menu items are available, which pricing applies, and how the order is categorised for reporting and analytics.

Option	When to use
Table	Standard dine-in at a physical table.
Delivery	Order is for delivery — may trigger different menus or pricing.

The revenue center options shown depend on your location's configuration in the back office.

📋 The Order Screen

Once inside an order you will see the main ordering interface.

The screen has four main areas:

Area	Description
Left panel — Order ticket	Shows the current seat's items, running subtotal, taxes, and seat/table totals. The Order button sends unfired items to the kitchen; Pay opens the payment screen.
Top tabs — Category Groups	Horizontal tabs that filter the product grid by the category groups configured in your back office (e.g. Drinks, Desserts, Steakhouse). The Order tab at the far left returns to the order ticket view.
Product grid (centre)	Tappable item tiles within the selected category group. Items with a number badge indicate a countdown quantity remaining.
Right sidebar — Categories	Quick-filter by subcategory within the selected group (e.g. Appetizer, Burgers, Desserts). The highlighted tile shows your current filter.

🪑 Seat Management

Each order starts with Seat 1 pre-selected. You can add seats and assign items per seat using the seat controls at the top of the left panel. This is useful for split checks at the end of the meal.

➕ Adding Items

Select a Category Group tab at the top.
Optionally narrow by subcategory using the right sidebar.
Tap an item tile to open its detail view.
Choose any required variants, modifiers, or extras.
Confirm the quantity and tap Add to order (or the item is added automatically once all required choices are made).

🔍 Item Detail — Variants & Modifiers

Items that require choices open a detail panel showing:

Section	Description
Variants	Distinct versions of the item at different price points (e.g. 6 wings / 12 wings / 24 wings). Select one.
Required modifier groups	Groups with a minimum selection (shown in the header). Highlighted tiles = selected.
Optional modifier groups	Groups with an optional or "up to N" maximum. Tap to toggle selections.
Quantity	Adjust the quantity at the bottom before confirming.

The running Total price updates live as you make selections.

🔥 Sending Items to the Kitchen

New items added to the order appear with a New badge — they have not yet been sent to the kitchen. Press Order (bottom of left panel) to fire all unsent items. Once fired, items show an orange dot indicator confirming they have been sent.

You can also fire individual items or courses from the Status Screen or via Additional Functions.

📊 Status Screen

Tap the order header area (or use Additional Functions → Status) to open the Status Screen, which shows all seats and their items side by side. From here you can fire items for specific seats, void items, or initiate a seat-level payment.

⚙️ Additional Functions

The Additional Functions button (accessible from the order screen toolbar) reveals a modal with extended actions:

Function	Description
Fire	Send all unfired items to the kitchen immediately.
Edit	Modify a selected item's modifiers or quantity.
Add Remark	Attach a free-text remark to a selected item.
Open Promotion	Apply an open promotion to a selected item or the order.
Waiter Transfer	Reassign the order to a different employee.
Status	Open the Status Screen.
Transfer	Move items or the entire check to another table.
Gift Card	Apply a gift card as payment from within the order.
Print	Print the current order ticket.
Remove	Remove a selected item from the order.
Price/Charge	Override the price of a selected item.
Quick Table	Jump to a different table number quickly.
Table Number	Change the table number for this order.
Cancel Order	Void and cancel the entire order.
Customer Info	Attach customer details (name, phone) to the order.

🔎 Product Search

Use the Search a product bar at the top right of the order screen to find any item across all categories by name. A soft keyboard appears for text entry.
