Visualizing your floor plan

Transform your floor plan into realistic image renders by attaching design references and setting up scenes.

Step 1: Add Design References

Design references tell Maket the style and materials you want for your space. You can attach a reference to any room or individual furniture item in your layout. For more instructions on how to do so, refer to our Adding design references article.

Step 2: Select Your Scenes

A scene is a camera view of your room. You can adjust any scene to capture the exact angle or perspective you want.

How to view and edit a scene:

  1. Click the Visualize toggle in the top-left corner of the canvas, next to Layout.

  2. You'll see cameras show up on your floorplan. Click on any camera to move it around or to rotate the angle.

  3. When a camera is selected, you'll see its 3D view in the inspection panel to the right of the canvas. Below the preview, you can adjust the degree of the selected camera's field of view. The 3D view will update live as you make any changes.

Step 3: View and Edit Your Renders

Once your design references and scenes are set up, click Render scene to generate your image renders. Want to give Maket any extra direction? Just type your instructions or comments into the Prompt field before rendering.

Making changes: You can always go back and adjust your design references, layout, or scenes. When you re-render, your images will update to reflect any changes you've made to your plan.
