Learn how to navigate and understand the Inventory tab, including details on Part Details, Activity Log, and Documentation tabs.

This article will guide you through the details of the Inventory tab and the information available for each part.

Inventory Table

On the Inventory tab, you will see a table containing the following attributes:

1. Article Number: A unique serial number for a part.

2. Name: The part's name.

3. Description: A description of the part.

The table will also display any custom fields added from the main settings. For more information on creating and using custom fields, please see the related article here.

When you click on a part, a side drawer will appear on the right, providing more detailed information about the part across different tabs.

Inventory "Part Details"

On this tab, you will find:

  • Name: Displays the name of the part.

  • Article Number: Displays the unique serial number for the part.

  • Description: Shows the description of the part. You can edit this description, and it will be shown to your clients once the part is assigned to their machine.

  • Image: Displays an image of the part.

  • Internal / Custom Fields: Shows all custom fields added for the inventory in the main settings. For more information on creating and using custom fields, please see the related article here.

Inventory "Activity Log"

On this tab, you will find:

  • Activity Log:

    A chronological record of user actions related to the part. It shows who performed the action, what action was taken, when it happened, and the before and after states for any changes made.

Inventory "Documentation"

On this tab, you will find:

  • External Documents: Documents uploaded here will be visible to your clients in the Inventory documentation.

  • Internal Documents: Documents uploaded here will not be visible to your clients. These are for internal use by your team members.
