Malaa Securities is working with the global custodian Alpaca, which is a member of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SPIC). You can think of SPIC as insurance for funds help in brokerage accounts in the event that the brokerage fails.

SPIC provides insurance protection for your investments, including those held by our custodian, Alpaca. It covers up to $500,000 USD (1,875,000 SAR) that includes $250,000 USD (937,500 SAR) for claims for cash.

The limit applies only to the value of missing securities, not losses due to market conditions or volatility.
