In our Resource Library, we have a section called Special Activities. These activities go above and beyond our lessons and/or provide a new fun way to challenge your participants.

Color Your Power This activity is brought to by the Texas Beef Council.

  • It is designed to help kids track the colors of the food they eat. This activity reinforces that eating colorful foods provides health benefits to our bodies.

Heart Health Challenge This challenge teaches all about the heart and challenges kids to move in a variety of ways that count towards mileage.

  • The key to this challenge is for the coach to track all of this effort and pull a report using the data range feature to update participants on how many miles were conquered during the challenge time frame.

Mini-Mileage Log This mini-log is a way perfect way to give participants a chance to complete five miles from home, especially over holiday breaks.

  • This is a great resource if you aren't using the parent feature or parents don't want to create their Marathon Kids account.

Run And Read Read a book and run a mile!

  • This is a great resource for K-2nd grade classrooms to do together or used as an At-Home Challenge for kids.
