You are ready to Start a Club!
Click "Add New Club" located on the left-hand side of the menu in your account.

Note: If your location is already claimed, you have two options:
If you know the previous coach and they are still with the organization, click "request access".
Ask the coach to log into their Marathon Kids account to accept your request for access.
Then you will have access to the club.
If you are now the new person in charge of the account and the old coach is no longer with the organization, please reach out to Marathon Kids.
We can grant you access and change the ownership to you.
Claiming the Location
Where will your club meet?
Schools:
Type in the name of the school and it will start populating possible matches.
Sometimes you need the official name of the school or use the address instead of the name for it to populate.
Be sure to double-check the location of the school, as many schools have the same name.
Not a School:
Many claim locations that are not a school like community organizations, home-school groups without buildings, neighborhood groups, etc.
The system does not let you claim a home address. An option is to claim your local park as the "location". Claiming a location does not mean you must physically meet at this location.
Creating a Club
 Once you click "Create a Club" you will see the name of your club on the left-hand side menu.
You are also accepting responsibility for the program and will be the active ambassador of the account.
The ambassador is the main person in charge of the program.
If you leave this organization/location, you can transfer the ownership to the new Coach.

Now you are ready to customize your account and get ready for your running season!
