As a seller, should I insure the orders I ship?

Yes, insurance is always recommended.

  • Standard Coverage: Most carriers (like USPS Ground Advantage or Priority) include up to $100 of coverage, but you should always verify this with the carrier.

  • High-Value Items: If an item's value exceeds the standard coverage, we highly recommend purchasing additional insurance to protect yourself against loss or damage.

  • EasyPost: Currently, our EasyPost integration allows you to purchase additional insurance directly when buying labels on the platform.

  • Signature Requirement: We are currently developing a feature to require Signature or ID for high-value deliveries.
