Fulfillment Partner Protection Policy

Updated over a week ago

At Marketplace.Live, we defend our fulfillment partners against abusive buyer behavior and fraudulent activity. This includes unjustified negative feedback, unfair returns, and policy violations. However, protection is contingent on meeting your responsibilities — including providing valid tracking, maintaining accurate product listings, and conducting business professionally.

Key Protections

  • Protection against buyer abuse, misrepresented returns, or extortion.

  • Removal of unjust feedback when cases are resolved in your favor.

  • Chargeback protection for unauthorized credit card use (Marketplace.Live covers these as the seller of record).

Shipping and Insurance Clarification

If an item is lost or damaged and the fulfillment partner failed to provide valid tracking or used insufficient packaging, Marketplace.Live may resolve the buyer’s claim under our shipping insurance program and seek reimbursement from the fulfillment partner.

Tracking Requirements

  • Orders must be shipped with valid tracking to qualify for protection.

  • Fulfillment partners who repeatedly ship without tracking may lose eligibility for protection and may be held responsible for claims resolved through shipping insurance.

Chargeback & Dispute Handling

If a payment dispute arises:

  • Marketplace.Live will respond directly to the payment provider.

  • You must provide the required order documentation promptly.

  • If the bank rules against the transaction, Marketplace.Live will cover losses related to unauthorized use fraud. Other types of chargebacks (e.g., “item not received” or “item not as described”) may remain your responsibility if fulfillment obligations are not met.

Revocation of Protections

Fulfillment partner protection may be revoked for:

  • Operating under false identities.

  • Multiple or repeated policy violations.

  • Listing prohibited or counterfeit goods.

  • Abusing Marketplace.Live’s buyer protection systems.
