BigCommerce Configuration
The fulfillment partner needs to manage the configuration from the partner panel. Go to the partner panel Configuration>>BigCommerce Configuration.
The partner will configure the BigCommerce details such as store hash, unit weight, store currency, dimension unit, and access token. Additionally, the partner can choose if he/she want to auto-sync newly added products or not.
The partner will get all the details from their BigCommerce stores by creating API accounts.
How To Create an API Account?
To create an API account, the partner needs to log in to his/her BigCommerce store.
Now, you can go to Advanced Settings.
Scroll down to get the API Accounts menu. Click on it and proceed to create an API account.
Then, visiting the BigCommerce Connector section, the fulfillment partner needs to enter the details such as store hash, weight unit, currency, dimension unit, and access token. Next in this guide, we will see how to get the has and access token.
How To Get The Hash?
Log in to your BigCommerce Account Dashboard as the store owner.
1. Click on your Store Name
2. Scroll down to the Details section
3. The Permanent Address will be displayed as:
"abcde12345" is the store hash.
How To Get Access Token?
While creating an API account, enter the details and click the Save button. A pop-up appears from where you will get the access token. Copy and paste that back into the connector section.
Partner Importing Products – BigCommerce to the Marketplace
After all these settings, the partner will proceed to import products from his/her BigCommerce store to the marketplace.
Clicking the Import Product button, the partner will have two methods to import products.
Method 1: The partner will enter the comma-separated product IDs (that the partner wants to import).
Method 2: Select a range and import products.
Register Webhook (DO NOT TOUCH)
The partner can register or unregister BigCommerce webhooks from the partner panel. For this, log in to the partner panel and go to BigCommerce Configuration>>BigCommerce Webhooks.
Price Rule
Partners will have a new menu named Connector Price Rule in the configuration menu of the app. From here, the partner can create price rules based on which the partner’s product price will be calculated in the marketplace.
Now, the partner needs to enable “Price Rule” status and select the options to increase/decrease the price. The price will be changed by a fixed amount or a percentage amount, so enter the amount that needs to be changed.
Now, enable the checkbox to update the previously synced product’s price at the merchant’s store as per the price rule created.
Sync Barcode
Now the admin can allow their partners to sync the product’s Barcodes (UPC, MPN, GTIN, etc) from their Bigcommerce store to the marketplace.
The partner can select the Barcode (MPN, GTIN, UPC, etc) that they want to sync with the Barcode field in the marketplace by navigating to Partner Panel>> BigCommerce Configuration>> Select Barcode>>Save.
