As a seller, I am concerned about payment fraud. What protections are in place?

Updated over a week ago

TradingCardsMarketplace.com takes fraud prevention extremely seriously. As the Merchant of Record, we handle all payments and implement advanced controls to protect both buyers and sellers.

Here is how we protect you:

  • Paid Orders are Guaranteed: If an order is marked as "Paid" in our system, you are protected—even if the billing and shipping addresses do not match.

  • Fraud Chargebacks are Covered: We absorb costs for chargebacks related to unauthorized or fraudulent card use.

  • Fulfillment Issues are Not Covered: We do not cover chargebacks for "Item Not Received" or "Item Not as Described," as these are fulfillment responsibilities.

  • 🚫 No Manual Reviews Needed: If we have processed the payment, there is no need for you to cancel or review the order for fraud. Our systems have already verified it.

What this means for you:

Because we allow billing and shipping addresses to differ, you may see more orders for gifts or third-party shipments. This creates more sales opportunities for you while keeping you fully protected.

In short: TradingCardsMarketplace.com assumes the fraud risk, so you can focus on fulfilling orders without worry.
