See when shoppers look for your product

Use the keyword chart to plan for busy and quiet seasons.

Written by Richie Peplin

Planning a holiday design? Look for when interest starts rising, so you can allow time to make and ship it.

Look at the pattern

  1. Research your phrase in Keyword Search.

  2. Find Engagement over time.

  3. Use the dates and chart legend to see past activity, the average and the forecast.

A rise in the same season each year may help you plan. A single spike needs a closer look.

Leave time to make your work

Work backward from the busy period. How long do you need for designing, making, photographing and shipping?

A forecast is an estimate. Use your own past orders, costs and available time when deciding how much stock to make.

If two phrases fit your product, compare their patterns. Save the useful phrase in a Keyword List and note when you'd like to revisit it.
