How long will it take to validate my claim?

This article is for Marshmallow policyholders who have already reported a claim and want to understand what stage it’s at.

When you report a claim to us, the first step is the validation process. This process helps us confirm that everything provided is accurate and that we have what we need to process your claim.


How happens during validation?

During this time, we:

  • Check that the details you shared match your insurance policy

  • Review any documents, photos, or supporting evidence you’ve submitted

You don’t need to follow up—we’ll contact you if anything is missing or unclear.


What happens after validation?

Once validation is complete, we’ll either:

  • Proceed with your claim (e.g., by arranging repairs or assessing your vehicle), or

  • Contact you with next steps if more information is needed
