When you're eligible for a courtesy car

You will receive a courtesy car if:

  • Your vehicle is declared a total loss after a road traffic accident.

  • Your car is no longer drivable due to theft, attempted theft, arson, or criminal damage.

  • Your vehicle is stolen and not recovered.

You must also:

  • Have purchased the Courtesy Car Upgrade add-on (included with Marshmallow Plus).

  • Have a valid claim accepted by Marshmallow.

  • Use our approved partner Sparta to arrange the courtesy car.

When you're not eligible

You won’t receive a courtesy car if:

  • Your car is being repaired and is still drivable.

  • You choose to repair your car at a non-approved garage.

  • Your claim relates only to glass or windscreen damage.
