Where the estimated value comes from

The vehicle value shown on your policy is an estimated market value. We don’t set this figure manually. Instead, it comes from:

  • Data provided by the DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency)

  • Information from an independent external provider

We use this estimate to help price your policy fairly.

Can I change the vehicle value showing on my policy?

No, you can’t edit this value. Because it is based on market data, we don’t manually adjust the figure displayed.

Will this value affect my claim payout?

No. If you need to make a claim, we won’t use this estimated figure.

  • Instead, we’ll assess your car’s real-time market value at the time of the claim.

  • This up-to-date valuation will be used to calculate your payout.
