How do I set up my Marshmallow Move Tag?

This article is for customers who have received their Marshmallow Move Tag and are ready to set it up.

Setting up your Tag is quick and easy.

Here’s how to get started:

  1. Open the Marshmallow app and follow the on-screen instructions.

  2. Press the button on the Tag - you should see a red light flash briefly. This confirms the Tag is ready to go.

  3. Use the provided adhesive to stick the Tag behind your rearview mirror or on your dashboard.

Important setup tips:

  • Keep Bluetooth on so your phone can talk to the Tag.

  • The Tag uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), so it won’t drain your battery.

  • You can still use other Bluetooth devices like headphones at the same time.

How to know your Tag is working:

When you press the button, a red light should flash for about a second. This means the Tag is working correctly and ready to use.

If you don't see the red light flash, try the following:

  • Make sure Bluetooth is turned on and the Marshmallow app is open.

  • Try reconnecting the Tag in the app.

You can't switch off the Tag, but it sleeps when not in use and wakes up when you start driving.

To remove it, gently pull it away from the surface. Dispose of it responsibly at a local recycling centre.
