How do I troubleshoot Marshmallow Move?

This article is for customers having issues with their Marshmallow Move Tag or app.

Trips not recording? Check these:

  • Phone is turned on and charged

  • Location is enabled (set to Always)

  • Bluetooth is enabled

  • Power Saving Mode is off

  • App permissions are correctly set

Still not recording?

  • Restart your phone

  • Close unused, high-resource apps

What if your phone wasn’t with you during a trip?

  • The Tag will record partial data

  • These trips won’t count towards your score

What does a "Tag-only" trip mean?

  • Your phone didn’t connect to the Tag

  • Data is limited and the trip won’t count towards your score

Too many "Tag-only" trips may lead to plan changes.

Changing your car? Just move the Tag to your new vehicle and stick it in the same spot.
