What to do if your windscreen or car window is damaged
If you have the Marshmallow Original or Plus plan, you’re covered for up to 2 windscreen or glass claims per year. Making a claim is simple and won’t affect your renewal price or No Claims Discount (NCD).
How to make a windscreen or glass claim
You can start your claim using the Marshmallow app:
Open the app and go to the home screen.
Tap ‘Report Incident’.
Select ‘My windscreen is damaged’.
Follow the on-screen instructions—we’ll take it from there.

What you’ll need to know
You’ll be asked who underwrites your policy—this can be found in the Summary of Cover in your Marshmallow account.
You can also check your Motor Insurance Schedule to find out your windscreen excess.

Note: Using a non-approved repairer may result in an extra £250 charge.
What isn’t covered
Windscreen and glass cover does not include:
Sunroofs or glass roofs
Panoramic windscreens
Vehicle lights or reflectors
Folding rear windscreen assemblies
