What does “mileage” mean on my policy?
The mileage on your Marshmallow policy is the number of miles you expect to drive in a year.
During the quote process, we ask you to estimate this.
Mileage matters because someone who drives daily for long hours is more likely to have an accident than a driver who rarely uses their car.
What happens if I exceed my mileage?
If you drive more than the mileage stated on your policy:
Your details will not match what was originally quoted.
In the event of a claim, we’ll check your details, including mileage. If your mileage is incorrect, your claim may not be valid.
That’s why it’s important to keep your mileage up to date.
