Once you have paid for your policy, you may be asked to complete an ID Check. When you successfully complete the ID Check your policy is activated but this doesn't necessarily mean you can drive yet.
We’ll send you a welcome email confirming that your policy has been set-up. The start date of your policy can be found in the Certificate of Motor Insurance. All your policy documents can be found in your Marshmallow App.
You are only legally able to drive your vehicle when your policy has actually started. If your policy is activated prior to the actual start date then you are not legally insured to drive yet.
