You can choose to do your ID Check on your computer as long as you can upload a photo of your ID document (passport or driving licence) and a selfie (photo of yourself, taken by you).
Some things to remember:
The ID Check will not accept scanned images - please do not upload a scan of your ID document, upload a photo of your ID document instead
Your selfie must be a photo of you, taken by you, head on - images such as scanned passport photos will not be accepted.
After you have completed your ID Check, just wait for a text to confirm that your ID Check has passed.
Please note, if you’ve been asked to complete an ID check, you won’t be able to drive until after you’ve passed it.
