If you don’t pass your ID Check the first time, don’t worry, you’ll get more chances to complete it successfully.
How many attempts do I have?
You’ll have up to three attempts to pass your ID Check.
If you are attempting to complete the ID check within the app, you will receive an on-screen instruction that it was not successful and to try again.
How can I access my ID Check?
If you entered the wrong phone number or prefer not to use the app, you can always log in to our online customer account with your email address to access your check.
What if I still don’t pass?
If you haven’t passed your ID Check within 7 days of buying your policy, we won’t be able to activate your insurance.
In this case:
Your insurance application will be cancelled.
We’ll return your payment to your account.
If you’d still like insurance with us, you’ll need to start fresh with a new quote.
You will receive an email that your ID Check failed.
