If you have had an accident whilst abroad, you must report it to our claims team!

It is essential that you report the incident, even if all parties have agreed that they won't be making any claims.

‍From the app, tap Report an incident. Or you can call our 24-hour claims line on 0800 060 8622.

Please note, that the above number is for reporting claims only. It is not a general customer service line. For general customer support questions, please contact our team on live chat.

Where will your vehicle be repaired?

If the repairs are likely to be finished before you return to the UK, we'll arrange repairs in the country you're travelling in. In this instance, you would not receive a courtesy car, however your travel insurance may cover this.

If the repairs will not be completed by the time the policy holder returns we'll arrange transportation for the vehicle back to the UK, as long as this is economically viable, and will submit the repairs to one of our approved repairers. The customer would receive a courtesy car in this instance.

What will Marshmallow pay for?

We will pay the reasonable cost of delivery of the insured vehicle to you after repairs in the country in which damage was sustained, or to your home address if the damage cannot be repaired economically by the intended time of your return to the United Kingdom or if the vehicle is stolen and recovered after your return to the United Kingdom. We will pay the amount of foreign customs duty for which you are liable as a direct result of loss or damage to the insured vehicle preventing its return to the United Kingdom.

If you need any further help you can chat with a customer support agent.
