The Materio Clipper is the fastest way to add products from any website directly into your Materio library or into a specific project. Whether you're sourcing from a vendor site, a design marketplace, the Clipper helps you save what you need.

✨ What’s New in the Clipper

We gave the Clipper a major upgrade to make it faster, smarter, and easier to use. Here’s what’s new:

🖼️ Sleek side panel view

The Clipper now opens in a resizable side panel that stays out of your way while you browse. No more blocking the webpage you're working from.

Add vendors directly in the Clipper

No need to switch tabs or jump into the platform. You can now create a new vendor on the spot while saving a product.

✍️ One-click text capture
Want to add a product name, price, or description? Just click on the text and it's instantly added. No copy-paste needed.

🗂️ Clip straight into a project
Save products directly to a project's item — not just your design library (though you can save it to the library later).

🖼️ Add multiple images in a click

Hover and click to grab one or more images from the webpage — no downloads or uploads are needed.

💸 New MSRP + trade discount support
You can now associate trade discounts and markups with select vendors, and we’ll auto-populate that pricing information while you clip. No more guessing, recalculating, or editing later—just accurate pricing—your way—every time.

🛠 How to Use the Clipper

1. Open the Clipper

If you haven’t already, install the Clipper from the Chrome Web Store . Once installed, you can click the Clipper icon in your browser while on any product page.

The Clipper will slide open in a side panel and automatically pull in product details.

2. Choose where to save the item

At the top of the Clipper, choose between:

  • Design Library (for future use or inspiration)

  • A specific Project (for selections in active work). Note that if you save it to a project, it does not automatically save it to the library as well, but if you decide you want to add it to Design Library later, simply open the item's edit panel and click this icon.

3. Review and adjust the details

The Clipper will grab as much info from the page as possible, including:

  • Product name

  • Vendor

  • Price (with trade discounts if available)

  • Description

  • Product images

You can:

  • Click on text on the page to instantly add it

  • Hover over images to add one or more

  • Manually edit any field

4. Add a vendor (optional)

If the product’s vendor doesn’t exist in your Materio account yet:

  • Click "Create new vendor" right inside the Clipper

  • Add the name and any details

  • That vendor will now be saved and linked to the product

5. Save the product

Click “Save” and the product will instantly be added to your selected destination — no extra steps.
