To locate auto-drafted orders or create new orders, navigate to your project's "Orders" tab on the left-side navigation. Here, you will find access to auto-drafted orders, initiate trade vendor purchase orders via Materio, track payments for online orders, and create work or service orders.

Materio has revolutionized creating and managing Purchase Orders through its auto-drafting function and workflow-driven interface. The system is designed so that each process logically leads to the next, eliminating the need for redundant tasks and making your work more efficient.

Before tracking or sending a purchase or work order, you can easily use Materio's Design Library to add products to items and receive client approval. After products are approved in Materio, they will be auto-drafted by the vendor into your orders tab. This auto-drafting of purchase or work orders helps you avoid the need to re-enter details or manually search for products each time you want to draft a PO.

When is a purchase order auto-drafted?

A PO is drafted after the firm or the client approves an item (product).

A Service PO or Work Order is auto-drafted after an approved quote.

Do I need special permissions on my account to send a purchase order?

No, anyone with full edit access to a project can send or track a purchase order.

Can I order a product before invoicing my client for it?

Yes, you can always invoice your client for products before purchasing. However, we recommend always collecting at least 50% before purchasing.

Can I send an email to my vendor through Materio?

Yes, you can send off purchase orders through Materio using our workflow, which sends an automated email with the order details, a PDF, and custom notes or instructions.

Do purchase orders sync to Quickbooks Online?
