It's essential to keep projects moving forward and within the mutually agreed-upon timeline set forth at the project's onset. Sometimes, clients may get distracted and let the decisions for selections slip. We can set due dates for categories of selections and even send a friendly reminder.

How to set selection due dates

Navigate to the Timeline section of Materio. Once there, locate the + button in the Selections due area.

From there, choose the Category of Selections and select a due date. Hit save and repeat this for all the categories for which you need a due date.

If you have enabled the client to view the timeline, the due dates will be visible. They will also be included in the status update emails.

How to Send a Reminder

If you need to send your client a friendly nudge, you can create a progress report (instructions here). You'll want to uncheck Show Progress, Show recent activity, and Show upcoming work if you want to highlight only that the selection decisions are due.

Select the clients on the project and then hit send. Reminder sent!
