The user presses on the 'Full AI Mode' button and proceeds to take 2 pictures of a tape measurer. The AI Auto Crop feature automatically crops the photos in real time and displays the thumbnail images. When the user is finished taking photos for the item, you press the 'Save & Next' button. The camera is still initialized and allows the user to continue with the next item/lot. Behind the scenes, the app has created the previous item, uploaded the photos to the server, and ran the AI Tool (ChatGTP or Google Gemini) which has then provided an item name/title and description, and added this to the item.
The second item added in the video - the user presses on the Barcode scanner button, located to the left of the Camera button. As shown, almost instantly the title of the item and the thumbnail image(s) are pulled into the app. When the user presses Save, they are uploaded to the server almost instantly.

Major known issues: Auction Fees missing, add Auction Type missing, Item Fees missing, multiple category option missing. These are all being worked on.
Maxanet Auction Pro FAQ's
While this is currently a BETA app, it is a LIVE app - changes you make in the app will reflect in real time in your admin panel. We highly recommend creating a new draft 'test' auction and adding inventory items to this draft auction.
Beta App Installation:
Available for both iOS and Android devices, including tablets. Please contact Support@Maxanet.com with any inquires regarding the beta App installation process.
App Login Page:
Enter your PROD# and username and password - the same as your web based Maxanet admin panel login.
Forgot PW: There is a forgot PW option that will assist in resetting your admin password.
Remember me. Check this box to remember your credentials for faster future logins. NOTE: During the beta phase, new App builds are being released multiple times per week...these new builds may lose your credentials.
OFFLINE MODE: A new Offline mode has been added. A very limited way to use the Maxanet Auction Pro App without an Internet connection!
Create a simple auction and add items and take pictures. Once you are back online, and logged into the App, go to the Offline Auctions page and follow the instructions to import the entire auction or inventory items into an existing auction.
App Settings:
Customizations: Light/dark mode, font size, button size. Show/hide different auction attributes and show/hide buttons in the Item List page you may not need or want to see.

Auction List Page:
This is the default page the User sees upon login. Draft Auctions are the default view. Press either Current or Offline buttons to view those auctions.
Press the 'flag' icon on the Auction Card to promote the auction as a 'favorite'. The auction will move to the top of the list until the User presses the flag again where it will then be sorted by End Date & Time.
Add Auction Form:
Just like the Maxanet web admin panel auction creation process, the Auction Title, Auction Type, and Start & End Date and times are required fields to add a new auction.
Auction Highlight Image Collage builder:
At the bottom of the Add/Edit Auction form, you will see a section labeled, 'Auction Highlight Photos'. Here the User can upload images from their device gallery, take images with their camera, or press the 'Create Collage' button.
The Collage Builder allows the app User to Add from Gallery, Take Photo(camera), or Select From Item Photos. Choose up to 6 images. After selecting your photos, press the Next button and then choose the layout of the Collage. The layout options depend on the # of photos you are trying to use. Press Next to then be shown a live preview along with additional tools for spacing, corner radius, background color, border, and output size. Press next to save and then save the auction form to upload the new collage image as the primary highlight image of the auction.
Edit Auction Form:
Press/tap on an Inventory item any where in the Item Card to view the EDIT ITEM form. Add additional photos, edit item attributes, save, save & close, save & duplicate, or save & new options available.
Item List Page:
This is the page of inventory items shown to the App user when they enter the auction.
Settings/Gear icon in upper right corner:
Edit Auction
Export Inventory to Excel. Creates Excel inventory file which can then be shared via email or text or drive upload.
Bulk AI Image>description. Perfect for clients who have created an empty auction items and have only taken pictures so far. Select your options and AI analyze the entire auction, or items without descriptions, to auto-create the details for you.
Toggle Scroll Controls. In the Item List page of inventory items, when you scroll down you will see navigation bars appear on the far right of the screen to help the User quickly get to the end of the item list, or back to the top of the item list. This setting will enable/disable this feature.
Upload Status. Shows a que/status of images being uploaded in the background of the mobile app.
Export Images to ZIP. Coming soon.
Search Lots (searchbox): Accepts alpha or numeric entry. Partial entry. Instant results shown to User.
Filter items (next to searchbox): Shows a list of item filters such as 'items without photos' or 'items without category'
Sync with admin panel (red arrows button): This will pull the auction data from the admin panel and refresh the app.
+Add Item button:
Manual item by item creator. Press the Camera button and take pictures and once you return to the Create Item form, there will be GTP AI and Gemini AI buttons shown that will analyze your photo(s) and auto create the ITEM NAME & DESCRIPTION fields.
Edit Item:
Press/touch an existing item to enter the EDIT ITEM form.
Full AI Mode button:
Featured functionality where the App User takes picture(s) of the item and then presses the green colored, 'Save & Next' button. The App user continues onto the next new item while in the background the App creates the item, crops & uploads the photos, and the AI analyzes and creates the Item Name & Description fields automatically. Depending on your internet connection this takes between 10-30 seconds to complete.
Barcode Scanner. Right next to the 'Camera' button in Full AI Mode is a barcode scanner/qr code scanner button. Press is to display the rectangular target box in the camera and scan a barcode. You will see a green colored 'barcode' label appear as well as thumbnail image(s). Press the Save & Next button to apply or take a picture of the actual item to use along side the stock photos.
In Full AI Mode, there is a 'Gear' icon to access the Settings:
Review Item before Save: If enabled, the User will be shown a preview of what the item and description will look like. The app user then reviews and saves. This Review Item process will increase user wait time as there are computational & AI analysis being done.
AI Provider: Choose Google Gemini AI or ChatGTP AI for the analysis. Can be changed on the fly, in between different items/lots.
AI Crop: Auto-crop is the fastest. Manual Review will add User wait time.
Aspect Ratio: Choose your photos aspect ratio. 4:3 is the default.
Fast Pic button:
A fast way to just take photos of inventory items and not worry about descriptions.
If the auction has no inventory items, it is recommended to go back and use the 'Bulk Add' Button (next section down on this page) to create blank inventory items for use with the Fast Pic Taker.
Press either of the blue 'Camera' buttons on the page and start taking photos. When the camera is initialized, there is a Gear in the upper right corner. You can set the AI Crop Mode to 'Auto Crop' for a faster experience.
When the user is done taking pictures, press the green colored, 'Done' button to return to the Fast Pic Taker Item page. Optionally add an item name, description, or press the Gemini AI or GTP AI buttons to auto create the attributes. Press Save & Next to save.
Use the orange colored, 'GoTo' button at the top and then choose a specific item or press the 'Next Item w/o Photos' button to skip to the next item in the auction that has 0 photos.
Bulk Add button:
Used to bulk create empty inventory items in the auction. This is useful for Users who want to use the Fast Pic taker functionality, or for when multiple Users are working in the same auction. Limit of 50 bulk items at a time.
AI Voice Add button:
For clients who want to speak their descriptions. The AI will give the User 120 seconds of recording time to speak the description. The AI will then analyze and write the description as well as fill in item attributes such as Category, quantity, reserve price, etc.
