Overview
Maxanet displays auctions on the public calendar sorted by End Date (auctions closing soonest appear first). You can override this ordering with drag-and-drop on the Current Auctions page, and you can show or hide any auction (current, past, or draft) independently of the calendar order.
How the default auction order works
When you log into your Maxanet admin panel, the default page is the Current/Active Auctions page. By default, auctions are sorted by End Date β the auction closing soonest displays at the top, and the auction with the most time remaining displays at the bottom. The public auction calendar page uses the same ordering.
How to manually re-order auctions on the public calendar
On the Current Auctions page in the admin panel, use your mouse to left-click and hold an auction title, then drag it to the position you want. The new order is reflected immediately on both the admin page and the public calendar. To reset back to default End Date ordering at any time, click the blue Sort by End Date button.
How to show or hide individual auctions
Each auction row has an Actions menu. Click Actions and select Hide to remove the auction from the public calendar, or Show to restore it. Hidden auctions display a red Hide label in the Status column so you can see at a glance which auctions are currently hidden. This works for Current, Past, and Draft/Future auctions.

Common questions
Can I hide an auction without deleting it?
Yes. Use Actions β Hide. The auction stays in your admin panel and can be restored with Actions β Show at any time. Hidden auctions show a red Hide label in the Status column.
Does drag-and-drop affect the public calendar immediately?
Yes. Reorders are applied instantly to both the admin Current Auctions page and the public-facing calendar.
How do I reset the order back to default?
Click the blue Sort by End Date button on the Current Auctions page. This restores the default ordering (soonest-closing auctions first).
Can I hide past auctions?
Yes. Show/Hide applies to Current, Past, and Draft auctions β any auction on any tab can be hidden independently.
