Turn off Bidding & Delete Current Winning Bids

In the admin panel, go to the Users page from the left menu. Search for the bidder/user#.

The far right column of the page will have a 3 dot 'Actions' menu. Click the 3 dots and in the drop down as seen below:

Select the 'Disable Bidding' option from the menu. A pop-up window will then appear.

By default, the 'Delete All current winning bids for this bidder' and the 'Send the Bidding Suspended email' are checked.

  • Delete All current winning bids for this bidder: If selected, any other current winning bids (or max bids) will be removed by the system. The 2nd highest bidder, if available, will be moved into the winning position on those items.

  • Bidding Suspended email: In the Admin: Configurations: Email Templates page, there is an email template called, 'Bidder : Bidding Suspended'. This email will be sent to the bidder letting them know that their bidding privileges were turned off. The admin can edit this email template to craft a custom message that the bidder will receive.

You can uncheck either or both of these options and then click on the green 'proceed' button which will immediately disable the bidders bidding privileges.

Once the Bidder's bidding privileges have been turned off, the status column for that bidder will show a red 'bidding off' label.

Turn on Bidding / Restore Bidding access for bidders

Reverse the steps listed above - in the Admin: Users page, find the bidder by Search and then in the far right column 3 dot Actions menu, select the 'Enable Bidding' option from the drop down menu.

and then click on the User# to view their profile. On the lower right side, there is a toggle switch to disable/enable bidding as seen below:
