To adjust your public page, click on Configurations: Public Page Configuration from the left hand navigation menu.

Important: Any changes you make to this page must be saved by clicking on the green colored Save button located in the upper right section of the page as seen in the screenshot below.

Header Logo:

To change the logo of your public auction pages, you must click on the 'Show Logo Header' toggle switch to ON, and then simply click on the browse button to upload your logo. You must hit the 'Save' button to save these changes. There is also a Mobile Browser Logo option on the page - this allows you to upload a smaller logo for display on bidders mobile devices.

To make the logo clickable, and hyperlinked, turn the 'Enable Logo URL' to ON, and then enter the URL.

If you do not have a logo, you can use the 'Logo Text' section to manually type out your website name which will display where the logo normally would.

Header Customizations:

As seen below, there are multiple options for the website header background color, as well as the Font Family, Font Color, Font Size and Font Style. The 'Title & Tab Color' and 'Title & Tab Font' will give a custom background color to the auction title and tabs in the Auction Details page.

Example of custom 'Title & Tab Color' in orange and 'Title & Tab Font' in white:

Header Navigation Menu:

You can add a simple navigation menu that will appear to the right of your logo. Enter the URL and the Title as seen below.

Example of the navigation menu and how it appears on the public auction pages:

SubHeader Content:

The subheader content box allows the admin to enter custom text that is shown at the top of each page, underneath the logo/header area, but above the auction generated content. Example:

Content:

  • Auction Page Size: The number of auctions shown per page. The default is 30. This is probably a setting you do not need to adjust unless you are running a high volume number of auctions.

  • Item Page Size: The number of items shown per page within the auction. We recommend 50, but displaying either 25 or 100 are also popular options.

  • Auction View: We recommend setting the auction view to 'LIST'. If you are a higher volume client, the GridView will display more auctions in a smaller area of the page.

  • Item View: This sets the default view of the inventory to either List or Grid view. The bidders can change this setting on their end.

  • Auction Label: As seen in the screenshot below, this is a text shown on the public Calendar page and can be customized.

  • Item Label: Choose from Item, Lot, Hidden, or Blank

  • Auction Label Color: The font color of the title of the auction

  • Item Label Color: The font color of the item#

  • Display Bid History: You can display or hide the link in each item to display the bid history

  • Display SKU#: Display or hide the internal SKU# of each item

  • Display Location: Display or hide the 'Location' field for each item (related to the Pull Report)

  • Allow max bid on Reserve Price Items: If an item has a Reserve price, and this setting is OFF, bidders cannot enter a max bid until the reserve price is met.

Additional Content Settings:

  • Show Banner: An optional banner image to display on the public pages.

  • Enable Multi-language: If ON, you can choose the default language (English v Spanish). At the bottom of the public auction pages will be a toggle switch bidders can use to change the language.

  • Display Bidder# on Bid History: You can obfuscate, show, or completely hide the bidder #'s from the public bid history of the items.

  • Category Label: This is for the 'Auction Types' and the admin can change the label of the dropdown menu on the public Calendar pages.

  • Show Items: When an auction is in the process of closing, items that are ended are still displayed to the public. If you set this to 'OPEN ITEMS', the ended items will not be shown to the public when they do an action such as refreshing the page, or viewing an item and going back, or going to page to page...any 'action' by the bidder will result in only the items that have time remaining (open items) to be shown.

  • Live Assistant Outbid Email Notifications: If you use the Live Assistant and place a bid, this setting will send the outbid email to the bidder that's been outbid.

  • Social Media Sharing: If any of the social icons are set to ON, they will appear as seen below on the public bidding pages:

Buttons

We recommend keeping the default settings/colors here for the 'Winning Button color' and the 'Outbid button color' as the Red signals to the bidder they've been outbid - and the green color signals they are currently winning the bid.

The Custom Message Hyperlink, if enabled, displays a custom message of 'Determining Winner - Please Refresh' in place of the countdown timer when it hits 0:00. This can potentially help bidders who want to ensure the final bid price and if they are, or are not, the winning bidder of an item.

Footer

The Footer allows you to enter your own custom text or hyperlink to a Privacy Policy for example. We recommend that you do NOT copy and paste external content into the footer box. Doing so may bring over hidden CSS formatting that could affect your auction pages.
