To Add or Edit Global Fees: from the left panel navigation menu, click on Configurations: Global Fees

This page will list out all current Global Fees. A global fee cannot be edited; it would need to be deleted and re-entered.

To Add a new Global Fee, click on the green colored 'Add' button located near the top right of the page.

You must select a Category for the new Fee. Options include: Tax, Fee, Premium, Commission, Seller Fee, and Other. Sliding Commission Scales coming soon (as of 09/18/20).

We highly recommend that the Name of the Fee is as descriptive as possible. For example, if you are adding a new Buyers Premium Fee, describe the Fee like this:

15% Buyers Premium (Taxable)
or
15% Buyers Premium (non-taxable)

This way, when you later go and apply this Premium fee to an auction or an invoice, it will be easily recognizable that it is a 15% premium and if it is taxable or non taxable. Same thing with creating a new Tax. We recommend the 'Name' of a Tax to be as descriptive as possible. An example would be:

8.75% Ohio Sales Tax

All Fees, except for Tax, can be made to be taxable or non-taxable. All Fees can be a percentage rate or can be a flat rate.

Seller / Consignor Fees:

When you are adding a new global fee, under the Category drop down menu there are options for:

Commission
Seller Fee

A commission type can be a flat rate, or a percentage rate. There is an optional checkbox called 'Sliding Commission Scale' that will allow you to create a sliding scale as seen in the example below:

Tip: Use the '+Add Sliding Scale' to add multiple scales. Scales can be either flat rate or % based.
