Consignor accounts can only be created by the admin in 2 ways:

  • From the Admin: Users page, click on the green 'Add' button and select, 'consignor' from the drop down menu. Fill in the required consignor details and click the Add button to save. The consignor will receive an email with their User# and password.

  • Consignors can also be created by turning an existing registered Bidder into both a Bidder and a Consignor (dual roles). To do this, search for the User# and then use the 3dot Actions menu and select the option called, 'Create as Consignor'. If a User has the dual role of both Bidder & Consignor, they will have all menu options available to them in their public User profile.

The Consignor can use their User# and password to login to the public auction pages just like a Bidder would - by clicking on the Login link in the upper right corner of the public pages. Once logged in, click on the User# again and from the drop down menu select the 'View Profile' option.

The User profile of a Consignor will by default have an ITEMS tab and a SETTLEMENT tab.

  • ITEMS tab: Consignors can create inventory items and view the current number of bids, the current bid price, and the status (sold vs unsold) of those items.

  • SETTLEMENT tab: Consignors can view and download their settlement reports.

Note: The system allows Consignors to create inventory items and load photos - but it does not allow them to create their own auctions. Once the Consignor has created inventory items, the Admin can take those items and assign them to an auction.

Note: The Admin can limit the Consignor's available features by going to the GoToAdmin: Roles & Permissions page and Editing the Consignor role. From here you can remove the ability of Consignors to view settlement reports or remove the ability to add or edit items.
