Please review each of the system updates listed below.

  • New Maxanet Wordpress Plugin available. We've updated our WP Plugin to version 5.2. You can view a live demo site with this newest WP Plugin installed here:
    https://abcauctions.online/

We have added the following features to this new plugin:
    Optional Auction Level Countdown Timers
Single Featured Items or an auto scrolling carousel of multiple featured items
New Configuration options to adjust padding and spacing of all elements
Ability to change the font size of the Auction Title
New 'Search' shortcode & 'Auction Types' to display on your site

If you are interested in switching to this new plugin, please contact us at Support@Maxanet.com with your website URL/domain name. Please be patient with your request - we need to manually update clients sites 1 at a time.

  • Admin: Auction: Images Tab - new tools added to Edit photos.
In the Images Tab of the auction dashboard, put your mouse over a thumbnail photo and a small menu will be shown with the following options: Rotate Left, Edit, Rotate Right, Delete.

The Rotation will be nearly instant. If you click on the 'Edit' option, the image will expand into a lightbox as seen below with photo editing tools such as: Resize, Crop, Flip, Rotate, Draw, Text on photo. You must click on the 'Apply' button to apply the changes and then 'Save' to close.

  • Admin: Auction: Add/Edit Auction: Option to hide the Auction Start Date and/or the Auction End Date from the public auction pages.
If checked, the Start Date & Time or the End Date & Time will not appear on the public auction Calendar page, the auction Details pages, or at the top of the inventory/items page.

  • Admin: Auction: Payments Tab - new options in the 'Totals' shown at the top of the page.
Previously, at the top of the payments tab, it would show the totals for the different payment types of Credit Card, Cash, Check, and Other.

In this new update, the Admin can go to the Admin>Users>Payment Types page and create their own custom payment Types as seen below:

The 'Actions' menu will give the Admin options to Edit existing Types or delete them. Once these custom Payment Types are added, if you then go to the Admin>Auction>Invoices tab, and record/make a payment on a bidders invoice, and choose the 'OTHER' payment type, you'll see the following:

Use your pre-existing custom Payment Types, or create a new type on the fly with the 'Add Type' option on this page.

If you then view the Auction>Dashboard>Payments Tab, you'll see at the top of the page the Summary Totals of all payment types are listed, and your new Custom Payment Types will have their own line item as shown here:

  • Admin: Configurations: Invoice Config - Display or Hide the 'Balance Due' from the TOP of the bidder invoice. Currently the 'Balance Due' displays at both the top and the bottom. This new toggle switch can remove it from the top, but keep it at the bottom.

  • Admin: Users: Add User - new 'phone extension' field added for both new Bidders and Consignors. This data is also added to the new bidder registration form, the bidder profile update page, and the MS Excel export of the User List for the Admin.

  • Admin: Ended Auction: Settlements: Settlement Report - an issue was fixed where the Quantity (QTY) was not displaying properly on the item level. The total amount owed to the Consignor was correct, but the line by line list of items did not have the proper reflection of the QTY.

  • Public Auction Page: Grid View - a bug was fixed with the Location field. If the Admin was using the 'Location' field in the item description, it was not showing the full description to the bidders when they viewed the auction in Grid View. This has now been fixed.

  • Admin: Auction: Add/Edit Auction - a bug was fixed with Auction level Fees. When the Admin has 'FEES' associated on the auction level (from the Add/Edit Auction page), and then use MS Excel to download the inventory, make changes, and reupload at a later date.

  • Public: Bidder Profile: Invoices: Make Payment - a bug was fixed where the bidder was previously able to 'double click' on the make payment option which was double charging an invoice in some cases. This has now been fixed.
