Please review each of the system updates listed below.
Live Assistant Update
Admin>Auctions>Live Assistant. The Live Assistant has been updated with the following enhancements:
Countdown Timers are now shown for each item in the Live Assistant
Halt & Resume buttons added for each item. If an item is Halted, and then Resumed, the admin has the option to change the End Time. If not, the item will keep the original end time.
The Admin can place bids on any item, at any time, even after the item has Ended. If the admin is entering a bid after the item has Ended, there is an optional checkbox to 'extend the item end time' as seen below.
Additional enhancements have been made such as removing the SKU# from the page, displaying the first X characters of the item description, displaying the primary thumbnail image of the item, displaying the current bid, the minimum next required bid, the high bidder#, and the max bid amount, a larger green 'bid now' button located at both the top and bottom of each page.
Buy it Now and new Make an Offer feature
Admin>Auctions>Auction Dashboard>Buy It Now. Multiple updates have been made to the BuyNow functionality including the following:
Make an Offer. We have a new optional feature for inventory items - make an offer. The make an offer is available for any BuyNow item as seen below:
In the Add/Edit Item page, as seen below, there are 2 options that can be selected:
Enable Only Buy Now. If selected, the Bid Boxes will disappear for this single item...and the bidders will only have the option to buy it now, or make an offer.
Minimum Accepted Offer Amount. If selected, this is the minimum amount of an offer that the admin is willing to consider. In the above screenshot, the admin has set a $500 buy it now price, and a $400 minimum accepted offer amount. If a bidder submits an offer for $350, the bidder will instantly see a pop-up window with a message saying their offer was declined. If the same bidder then makes a $400 offer, an email will be sent to the Admin alerting you of the pending offer.
If the Admin is uploading their inventory via an MS Excel file: There have been 2 new columns added to the Excel file - Column# H for the buynow price and Column# I for the minimum buy now offer amount.
On the public bidding pages, the bidders will see a new button called, 'Make An Offer' as seen below:
If a bidder submits an Offer that meets the optional minimum amount, the admin will receive an email alerting them of the submitted offer.
In the Admin>Auction>Auction Dashboard, the admin can go to the BuyNow tab, and there is a drop down menu where either Buy Now items or Buy Now Offers can be filtered.
The admin can review and either Accept or Decline a Buy Now Offer from here. If rejected, the bidder can submit another best offer. If the admin accepts the offer, the invoice can be accessible through the Invoices tab. Here the admin can add Fees (premium, tax, etc) and use the standard invoicing tools for invoicing, emailing, and recording a payment.
Other updates to the BuyNow include: In the Admin>Auction>Items tab, if a buynow item is purchased, it will now be reflected properly in the Items tab. The Items tab Filter 'no bids' filter will no longer show items that have been purchased via BuyNow.
Public pages Breadcrumb Menu
Public>Auction Pages> new Breadcrumb menu. There was an issue with our previous system update and the breadcrumb menu. In this update we've updated the auction pages breadcrumb menu as seen below. The back arrow will take the user back to the previous page they were just on (just like the back button in the web browser). The Auctions link will take the User back to the main Calendar/current auction page. Clicking on the Auction Title will take the user back to the first page of the auction.
Create Custom Starting Item Number
In the Admin>Auction>Auction Dashboard>Items tab>Lot Actions>Create Inventory>Custom Starting Item Number
When creating blank inventory items, the system will automatically start with item#1. Now the admin can now choose a custom starting number as seen below.
Credit Card Payment Receipt
Admin>Auctions>Auction Dashboard>Invoices
The admin can now view or print a credit card receipt for MaxanetPay transactions. In the Invoices tab, click on the arrow to the left of the Invoice number to expand the row and show the payment history. On the far right there is now a print icon as seen below.
Other updates/bug fixes include:
In the Auction>Items>Add/Edit Item page, we've duplicated the 'Save' buttons and the navigation options (prev/next/all) to the bottom of the page as well as the top.
Fixed an issue where the admin could enter a quantity of '0' on an item.
We've had some issues with the Bulk Emailer & Bulk Image Upload running at the same time with clients experiencing delays. In this system update we have separated these background services to help improve the performance and timeliness of both.
