Note: Please scroll to the bottom of this article to see examples on the public pages - what the bidders will see when submitting an offer on an item.

Adding a BuyNow Price on an item:

In the Admin>Auction>Items tab, when you add a new item or edit an existing item, there are options to set an optional BuyNow price for that item. A 'BuyNow' button will be added to the public auction pages like this:

There are also additional options as seen below:

Enable Only Buy Now: The default is OFF. If turned ON, the bid boxes on the item will NOT be shown. This can be useful for a client who wants to add fixed price buynow or make an offer items into an Open Bidding or Maximum Bidding display format auction.

Make an Offer. If turned ON, the public page will display a new button called, 'Make An Offer'. From the Admin panel, this 'Make an Offer' can be used either with a BuyNow price, or without. As seen below, there is no BuyNow price, just a 'Make an Offer' option.

And here is an item that has BOTH a BuyNow price and the Make an Offer:

Minimum Accepted Offer Amount - this input box will appear when the 'Make an Offer' is turned on by the admin in the Add/Edit item page in the admin panel. In the screenshot below, the example shows an item with a BuyNow price of $500.00 and the Minimum Accepted Offer of $300.00. This means that if a bidder submits a Best Offer for anything less than $300.00, it will be auto declined. If a bidder submits any offer over the $300.00 minimum amount, the Admin will receive an email alerting you of the pending offer. You can then decide to Accept or Reject this offer.

Here is how the Make an Offer looks on the bidders end. If a bidder submits an Offer on an item, and the minimum accepted offer is NOT met, they will see the following message:

The bidder can then submit another offer, and if this time the minimum accepted offer is met, they will see the following message that their Offer has been submitted for review.
