Installation:

In order to process in person credit card transactions with your MaxanetPay account you must download, install, and use the 'MagneFlex' web browser.

Windows Users:
Download MagneFlex for Windows 64 bit systems here:
https://www.magtek.com/Content/SoftwarePackages/1000007632.zip

The above link should automatically start the download of a ZIP file which then must be extracted and then installed.

If the above link does not work, you can go to the Magtek software download page here:
https://www.magtek.com/support/magneflex?tab=software

Scroll down the page to the 'MAGNEFLEX BROWSER' section, and then select the 'MagneFlex Navy, Browser, MFX 2.0 for Windows x64 - PN 1000007632 - v200' option for Win64 users, or the version below it if you're using an older x86 based system.

Mac / IOS Users:
Download MagneFlex for IOS/IPAD here:

Problems or issues downloading or installing? Please contact us at Support@Maxanet.com or use the Live Chat feature in your Maxanet admin panel and we will schedule a screenshare meeting with you.

Once downloaded, proceed to unzip and install the MagneFlex browser on your computer or device. Once installed, open up the MagneFlex browser and navigate to your Maxanet admin panel login page (https://prod1.maxanet.auction for example) and log into your account. Make sure to enter your Access code (emailed to you) if prompted.

Note: Add your Maxanet admin panel URL to your 'bookmarks' in this new browser for quick access in the future.

Processing Transactions:

You are now logged to your Maxanet admin panel in the MagFlex web browser and are ready to process in person transactions using your MagTek device.

Plug in your MagTek device to your computers USB port. A green light on the device should be on and/or blinking to signal the device is ready.

The process is the same as recording a payment on a bidders invoice.

For example, navigate to the Auction>Auction Dashboard>Invoices tab, and find the invoice that is ready to be charged. Select 'Make Payment' from the Actions menu and then select Credit Card.

On the Make Payment pop-up window, you will select 'Credit Card' and then you will see the screen above.

To do the in person transaction, and manually swipe the card, simply click on the 'Swipe Card' radio button as seen above.

There is an option to 'Save Card for Future Payments'. If you press this, the card you are swiping will be saved into the bidders profile and can be used for future transactions.

Click Submit to initiate the 'Swipe Card' process.

You should see the message below that the device (MagTek) is connected and starting the transaction. If you do not see the message below, ensure that the device is properly connected via the USB cable to your computer.

When the 'Present Card' message appears, you are ready to insert the Credit Card into the device. Insert the card with the chip facing down into the top of the device.

Once the card is entered, it should only take a few seconds to charge the transaction and then instruct you to remove the card. The pop-up window will automatically close and now the transaction will appear. In the screenshot below, the invoice has been changed to 'Fully Paid'. Clicking on the arrow to the left of the invoice number expands the payment history for the invoice. There is now a new transaction type called, 'Charged - Card Swipe'.

Here is a quick video showing the process:
