Plug&Charge allows you to use your charging station without a subscription. However, this makes the station inaccessible to EDI for updates or monitoring. It also disables the RFID reader, which means no card authentication is required for use (note if your station is publicly accessible). Therefore, the Split-billing feature is not available. So with Plug&Charge, all “smart” features are disabled, but all essential charging functions are retained.
