What should I do if my Mbrella Charge pass isn't working?

Find out what you need to do if your charge pass is not working.

If your Mbrella Charge Pass isn't working, there are several things you can check:

  1. Check that the charge card pass is activated in the application.

  2. Check the charging station

    1. Check that the charging station is compatible with the Mbrella Charge Pass.

    2. Look for visible damage or error messages on the charging station. If it's the charging station itself that's not working, you'll need to contact the charging station supplier. Contact information is often displayed on the charging station itself.

  3. Check your application

    1. Check the app for notifications of problems or system maintenance.

    2. Make sure the Mbrella Charge application is up to date.

If none of these apply, then try other charging methods:

  1. Restart the process

    1. Remove the charging cable and reconnect it.

    2. Try restarting the charging session using the pass.

  2. If available, use the virtual card or QR code in the app to start the charging session.

  3. Some charging stations may accept credit card payments as a back-up method.

  4. Use the in-app support chat to get in touch with customer service. You can also send an e-mail to charge.support@mbrella.eu for assistance.

💡 When contacting support, make sure you provide detailed information:

  • The charging pass ID

  • The location and ID of the charging station (=the numbers with all the * in between)

  • Any error messages displayed

  • Any steps you've already taken to troubleshoot
