Mbrella charge itself is not compatible with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. But why? Well, this is a deliberate choice:
Once you've chosen your preferred charging point in the Mbrella Charge app, it's actually preferable to use the built-in navigation in your car to get there. This way, your vehicle knows when you are close to your chosen charger & it will automatically 'precondition' your battery to the right temperature to ensure optimal charging performance when you arrive.
Do you still prefer to use an external navigation app? Well, let's be honest, we won't beat Google Maps, Waze... when it comes to navigation & everyone has their preferred app whatsoever. For that reason, Mbrella Charge offers integrations with all major navigation apps by simply:
1) Choosing your charging station on the map in the Mbrella Charge app
2) Clicking the Arrow ➡️ on the bottom of your screen to see a list of the navigation apps on your smartphone
3) Selecting your favourite app & just following the navigation instructions to your selected charging station!
