Connecting the Zebra DS2278
Step 1
Turn on the Scanner: Press and hold the scanner's trigger until the LED light illuminates. Ensure it is fully charged.
Step 2
Put the Scanner in Bluetooth Pairing Mode: Scan the QR code and barcode below.
First, scan this QR code to enable the iOS Enhancement Feature:
Next, scan the barcode below to enable Bluetooth mode for iOS devices:
Step 3
Open Bluetooth Settings on the iPad: On the iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth and ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
Find and Select the Scanner: In the list of Bluetooth devices, look for the DS2278 Scanner. Tap on it to connect.
Step 4
Open Meadow App, and go to “Barcode Scanners” in the side menu
Tap on the “Setup Zebra BLE” button at the bottom
Scan the barcode with the Zebra scanner
A few seconds for after you scan the barcode, you should be prompted with a message to pair the sanner with your iPad.

Settings to Consider for your Scanner
