Deli style sales at Meadow POS can be performed either manually (by entering the gram weight displayed on the scale into the iPad) or with an automatic integration (the POS app pulls the weight from the scale once it's stabilized).
The Meadow iPad app supports many scale integrations via the BlueSnap adapter.
BlueSnap plugs into the port on the scale (RS-232) and connects to the iPad using Bluetooth. This bridges the scale and the iPad.
The single most common model we see in use at dispensaries across the country are Ohaus (especially Scouts), but BlueSnap supports many other types.
The specific model is the BlueSnap - DB9-M6A, Male, "FAST" Firmware adapter.

After connecting your scale to the correct BlueSnap adapter, it will appear in the Meadow POS app.
Open the Menu from the top left corner, then select "BlueSnap Scale Adapaters" under the Manage Devices list.
Once the adapter shows under "Connected Devices" the scale can be used.
If the scale in use supports an "auto-print" feature (such as the Ohaus Scout), the scale can be set up to automatically send the weight to the Meadow POS app once the weight stabilizes. Please refer to your scale user manual.
If the scale in use does not support this feature, press the "print" button when ready to send the weight from the scale to the POS app.
